After a decade of working on architecture and citizen participation as a fundamental axis, mahatma arquitectos made a qualitative and international leap to study with the leadership and coordination of the Erasmus + “Smart Kids” European Project, with partners from the United Kingdom, Poland, Greece and Turkey.
It will be two years of debate, meeting, training and application of experiences, search for new processes and protocols, generation of content and methodologies, to bring “Smart City / Smart City” to Europe’s teenagers through regulated education .
The project will include, inter alia, the universities “Edinburgh Napier University” (United Kingdom), Akademia Humanistyczno-Ekonomiczna (Lodz-Poland), or the European Center and Training for Employment (Crete-Greece), as well as various educational centers in the participating countries.
The first meeting took place on January 9 and 10, 2018 at the Mahatma Showroom cultural space, located at Calle Andrés Pérez 12 (Málaga-Spain)
And as we say in Mahatma, “there are no intelligent cities without intelligent citizens”. With effort and dedication we will try to leave a better world to the little ones, transmitting the knowledge acquired in our old, diverse and beautiful Europe.
